I would not exclude the Sabres from this conversation. Sabres have some bodies they can move and lord knows a surplus of young talented dmen.

The SabRES are in a bit of a pickle with all their dmen.

With Brennan up from Rochester now (and not going to make it through waivers) and me speaking with Jordan Leopold after yesterdays practice at the Northtown Center here in Amherst I would bet that Darcy has another deal in the works. There just isnt any way he doesnt to be fair.

Jordan told me this after yesterdays practice. I said to Jordan "looks like there is only dmen coming out of the locker room so far " when Jordan looked at me and said "yea well, there certainly is enough dmen here, that's for sure" .

With Brennan , that makes 10 NHL ready dmen. I dont know what's going to happen with Pardy but I really liked what I seen from him yesterday for sure. Mcnabb isnt coming up but he still is included in that 10. Yeesh that 10 list doesnt include Pysyk / Leduc /McCabe even .

Darcy needs to move 1 or 2 dmen before the season starts. I'd look for the Sabres to be doing something via the trade before Wednesday.
The Sabres have an embarrassing wealth of young dmen in the stable. A position of strength for sure.
