completely possible, I just usually choose not to engage these days |

can we just all agree that all the players on teams we don't like suck and are overpaid? would save us a lot of time. also, self-team-hating apologists should also state that before they post. |

P.K. Subban is Sean Avery who plays defense. Brash, flamboyant, and numbers like Robert Svehla. It's tedious. |

Price ain't gettin' overpaid. He's a top 5 goalie in the league. - weirdoh
That's funny. |

reasons why i hate pk subban:
1) some players on opposing teams didn't like that he mouthed off back to them, to quote toddler olsen twins: 'how rude!' Soon this won't be an issue though, because in the new CBA there are 14 pages written about how young players in the league are pretty much required to act like pledges to a fraternity in an 80's college comedy movie.
2) he has gotten in scraps during practice with his own team-mates. although rather common among other players and teams, this obviously speaks to his utter disrespect and general suckiness at hockey.
3)he is doesn't stick to the script. hockey players are assigned a list of 6 things they are permitted to say to the media, interspersed with 'uhhh' and 'ummm' at appropriate intervals.
4) he smiles too much. is he laughing at us? he's definetly laughing at us.
5) he does that spinny-thing sometimes that has been moderetly successful once in a while. openly branding himself as overly flamboyant and over-the-top. i mean, sure, it has a modest success rate, and is a neat trick to see, but how dare he make an opposing player look bad. what's next? is this cock-of-the-walk going to score a goal? the nerve of some people!
6) didn't want to go here, but he's black. like, pretty dark. I'm not racist, and im sure none of you are, i mean, we can handle Iginla. he's like a friendlier colour of black guy. The darkest ones were always 3rd/4th liners or fighters. i think its a bit presumptious that Subban thinks could possibly be a star and take a job away from a , shall we say, more 'europeanish' player.
7) he has the nerve to hit back when punched in the face.
8) has had the NERVE to punch someone in the face first (totally cool if you are on the bruins, flyers or leafs, NOT if you are a flashy black dude on the habs)
in conclusion, what we have is a young man with a high potential, real enthusiasm for the game, high energy levels, and a bit of gowing up to do. We should probably try and have him thrown in jail. thank you for your time. |

So what you're trying to say is that you agree with me that he is flamboyant but with Robert Svehla stats, adding that you're uncomfortable with how black he is?
Why not start calling him P.K. Conguito. Holy poop. Is his D partner going to remind yo of Tintin in the Congo?
Whatever happened to Jaarko Ruutu? |

im saying he's fun to watch. (actually i guess i didn't say that at all, but whatever). i would rather have 6 pk-subban type players as my d-core than 6 adam footes (even in his prime), its a sport, should be fun and it adds to it if someone is having fun and being a character. if i want to watch a bunch of ultra-polite clones doing and saying only exactly what the status quo is, then i'll watch a bunch of pandaring politicians

What you said is that you wish P.K. was less black; a more friendly Iginla black would be, I don't remember, something like "put up with."
Edit: You feel that you can "handle" how black Iginla is, and also that you think P.K. is too keen on being a big star, given how black he is.
Am I missing anything? |
