I am not saying he isn't an incredibly talented young player, but honestly I believe he is a liability in his own end. I agree he is worth 5-5.5, but even though he says he wants to play in MTL, and Carey has given his vote to P.K. I see another team offering something for him that MTL won't be able to turn away from.

Great news. It will be like the playoffs right from Jan 19 untill June. No boring mid-week Leaf games vs Columbus or Phoenix. All 48 games will be a crucial 4 pointer.

I was sooooooo happy to hear Nonis on SN today say that they would be open mimded to trading a young player but they ONLY want a young player in return as along as that young player coming back in a trade fills the need in another position. So you won't be seeing the Leafs tading a Gardiner or Reilly for Luongo.
