pretty sure they are using the Tyler Myers contract as the framework for this deal, I think it is good term and money for P.K. Subban. However I don't see him living out that full contract in Montreal. I strongly believe he will be traded before the 4 year contract is out, if this signing is of course legit and not just rumor.

you think so? you dont see any growth in him in terms of maturity in these next few years?, i think he's likely to stay especially when you got Carey's vote i'd say in MTL what Carey says is gonna be what goes for a while...kinda like Miller in Buff

I could see him getting somewhere between 5 and 5.5. Given what he managed to do last year, and the fact that it's Montreal shelling out cash. But I'd think it might be a little lower now with the new CBA and cap set to be lowered.

Also the fact that he's said numerous times that he wants to play in Montreal for a long time should mean they don't have to pay top dollar. Or at least you'd think....
