The Marlies play today and tomorrow in nfld and then not again till Friday in bingo. There should be plenty of time to have a game between the leafs and Marlies as some have suggested teams are interested in doing.

Again, if they dont overpay, then meh.
But I'm really hoping they look at other goaltender options and just screw vancouver.

It'd have to be very little to not overpay. He has zero value. Do not want that contract.

Dream scenario: Luongo stays, Schneider struggles, Lu pitches a shut out.
- Atomic Wedgie

Dream scenario: Luongo gets trade to flyers, Schneider struggles big time ,Nucks miss the playoffs and Flyers win cup.

You shouldn't worry about the inevitable.

Read TSN's article on the remaking of Colton Orr.

Can he evolve into a hockey player? I'll believe it when I see it.

But what impresses me is Eakins working with the player, and getting buy-in.

You think Ron Wilson would have done that?

I'd like to see what Eakins could do with JVR and others.

As I reported yesterday completing the MOU is progressing slower than expected. Trying to get it done today otherwise opening camps trades, signings etc could all be delayed. @Sportsnet @nhl won't open for business until it is signed. Final doc signed in months CBA

@TSNBobMcKenzie: NHLPA concluded ratification vote at 8 am ET. Awaiting results. Lockout not over (no sked, trades, signings) until MOU is completed/signed.

The MOU will probably include a precise start time or specific reference when teams are free to do all business such as signing/trades.

It's my expectation some GMs are sitting on trades/signings that are done or close to done and as soon as gun goes off, there'll be activity
