The Edmonton Oilers have acquired defenceman Mark Fistric from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

The 26-year-old defenceman appeared in 60 games for the Dallas stars last season, posting no goals, two assists, with 41 mienalty minutes.

Fistric has played his entire five-year career for the Stars, after the team selected him with the 28th pick in the first round of the 2004 NHL Draft.
