From a business perspectuve it's better to keep him. He's very marketable. - flamminghead

I don't see him leaving. Let's say he has a 4 yr window to play.
Each year, an argument could be made for Calgary to make the playoffs. Then, it's always a crapshoot.
I see Kipper maybe leaving, only IF they fail miserably this yr and the next, though I don't think that will be a problem.
You can't just trade 2 of the franchises 5 best players all-time for mid-round picks. Terrible for business. |

Call me crazy, but I would trade Stajan, Cervenka, Jones and Backlund for those 4..........I think anyways. haha - The-O-G

They keep him in a padded room, with no electronics, so as to not disrupt the unstable brain waves.
When he is on the ice, he will be the first player to be fully encased in a bubble. He will be the bubble leaf.
Oh, and he still is terrible. Fast like Shean Donovan was, misses the net like Shean Donovan did. |

I wish!!!
But seriously.....I see Grabovski as a #1, Bozak/Connoly as a #2 and Steckel as a 4...not too bad IMO.
Really it all depends on how Cervenka is and if Backlund can find his game...
Ok, now seriously it's time to go drink....later fellas!!! |

It is one of two things, either to announce a 4 year NTC extenstion to retire a Flame or else he is on his way to Philadelphia for Sean Couturier.
If I was Philly I would not do this deal but Homer gets blinded sometime. If not Couter it will be Brayden. |

Here is evidence of the ignorance of ESPN with regards to hockey. They rate Miikka 32, essentially saying he is worse than all 30 starting spots in the league, plus 1/
Also, they rate a FLA goalie not likely to be playing above, along with Bob, Crawford, Dubnyk, Harding et all.
And apparently, JBo is the best fantasy option for D, at 73 in the league. While Phaneuf is 10th.

Schedule looks doable.
5 of the first 6 at home, to get off to a great start.
Longest road trip 4 games. Sucks it is at the end of the season.
Oil on HNIC 1/26 |
