To your first paragraph, idol threats wont work.
You think Porter has been great? I know the Sabres got what they expected, nothing more and they question his hockey sense, flat out been told "He has a low hockey IQ" - Homer
I think Porter has looked like a solid veteran hockey player in Rochester this year. If his hockey IQ is so low, why would they put the C on his sweater down there? |

Didn't he win the Hobey Baker with Gerbe being the runner up, or was that a different Porter?

ARNOTT HAS PLENTY OF OPTIONS
The Vancouver Canucks had shown interest in veteran center Jason Arnott prior to the lockout, and they could reconnect with the free agent in the coming days.
Arnott posted 17 goals and 34 points with the St. Louis Blues last season and remains an unrestricted free agent..........Several other teams have contacted Wade Arnott about his brother's availability and talks are expected to pick up over the next 48 hours.

Are the Sabres one of the teams interested? They should be. |

I have the exact opposite feeling about the Sabres as I do the Bills. The Bills FINALLY got Ralph to give up control, hired a coach outside the box and look to be heading in the right direction. Meanwhile the Sabres have kept Lindy and Darcy despite not making the 2nd round of the playoffs in 5 seasons and they just re-signed Jochen Hecht. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see this team doing much this season. |

Im 45 . I have reached the end of my rope with the Bills.
They have you brainwashed that this was a good move and you think this already wasnt happening , that Russ was in control?
I cant wait till the Bills stop draining taxpayers like me and relocate.
The Bills are not even talked about around the league for a reason, they are an enbarrassment as a franchise!
The Bills suck and I cant wait till they are outta here! |

They have people like you that will keep buying the bullpoop they peddle year after year after 13 years.
It's sad really and not even funny anymore.
I am mad that I keep funding this team with a % of my taxes here. God knows I buy NOTHING that has anything to do with the Bills. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on a franchise that is just stealing from its fanbase. |

Hockey IQ is not the same as leadership or work ethic. |

I gotta be honest. I never thought to look up video of john scott playing because I heard he was just a 4th line big body. But......holy effing hell does this dude light peoples faces up. I cant find a video where he is even close to losing a fight. Im excited.
- HotSauceBlueChs
According to hockeyfights.com he is 22-0 in the regular season. Opponents:
Sheldon Brookbank, 6'2", 210 lbs
Derek Engelland, 6'2", 197
Derek Dorsett, 5'11", 175
Ryan Reaves, 6"1", 194
Cam Janssen, 5'11", 205 (3 times)
Brad Winchester 6'5" 230
Zack Stortini, 6'4", 220 (twice)
Kevin Westgarth, 6'4, 235 (twice)
David Koci, 6'6", 228 (twice)
Brad Staubitz, 6'1" 208
George Parros, 6'5" 215
Tim Conboy, 6'2", 225
Matt Greene, 6'3", 224
Alexandre Bolduc, 6'2", 205
Dean Arsene, 6'2", 200
Cody McCormick, 6'2", 210
Joel Rechlicz, 6'4", 212
The downsides of his game are well known and pointed out by the Hawks fan. He can't catch most of the other players to start a fight. Everyone is aware that he is a monster so they avoid him. He may help other players to rough things up because they know he's in the lineup that night, but that won't help in the playoffs. He may get 1 game in a 7 game series, if any at all. |

Sadly though, its true.
Sabers fans will be female doging about him after his first couple of games. Have fun with him! |
