I said the same thing to some friends a few days ago. Give Miller some time to get his timing down. I doubt a week of practice is going to do that for him. But, knowing Lindy, he will do the exact opposite.

Just let him watch a game from the bench, Enroth has played over sea's for a while and is game ready! Big difference, than workouts or practice for a week.

Don't worry, Matt "Freakin" Ellis will be in the lineup! Play Flynn instead, Ellis has had his time.

I was just looking at the roster and the size we have is astonishing considering where we were 2-3 years ago.

If I am Lindy Ruff I get all of the guys in camp in the same room and show them a video of the Lucic fiasco last season. I would them tell them that anyone who let's something like that happen again will end up buried in the ECHL or they have to fight John Scott in practice.

With Roy and that pretender Gaustad gone, plus Foligno, Scott and Ott on the roster this team will be much harder to play against. Not sure if anyone has noticed, but Foligno looks like he's has actually grown a bit or put on more muscle; he looks like a monster out there for the Amerks.

Oh and Kevin Porter looks like he is going to be a very underrated signing for the Sabres. He's been great for Rochester this year and could be a solid 2-way checking center for this team. At the very least he'd be a serious upgrade over Matt Ellis, which isn't hard I know, but I think he should be centering our 4th line.

I gotta be honest. I never thought to look up video of john scott playing because I heard he was just a 4th line big body. But......holy effing hell does this dude light peoples faces up. I cant find a video where he is even close to losing a fight. Im excited.

John Scott seems like a great guy and a good teammate...but he's beyond useless on the ice.

You think Porter has been great? I know the Sabres got what they expected, nothing more and they question his hockey sense, flat out been told "He has a low hockey IQ"

So he can skate like 3 shifts, be a minus 2, not hit anyone (because he's too slow to catch anyone off guard), and not fight anyone (because no one will engage with him anymore and he refuses to take an instigator penalty)?

If he does dress often enough, and skate enough shifts to be half the enforcer you all seem to be hoping for....plan on losing, a lot. To call him a pylon is an insult orange plastic cones all over the world.
