The difference is right now until he comes back they hold his rights. That means if/when he decides to come back he's theirs.

I like our young guys (that doesn't sound good) as much as anyone, but:

Hodgson=potential

Ennis=potential

Grigorenko=potential

All kidding aside, it may not be a terrible pick-up as long as Hecht stays healthy. Reason being is Ott can take faceoffs and switch to wing and Hecht plays the center position pretty well but is horrible at faceoffs.

As long as he comes inexpensive (say $1M) then I think it is a decent pick-up. But then there is Arnott out there too.

Not entirely, I don't see much purpose bringing in D for a season or 2 of service. As we have Mcnabb, Brennon, Pysyk, Mcabe, and Leduc all developing.
Also, wondering if it would benefit Armia to have him in Rochester for a year. Get used to the NorthAmerican style of play. He has to much skill for a 3rd line, Tropp would be better suited. Plus Staffords contract will be up and Armia would fit right into the top 6.

Armia is my wild card... I also can't wait for Girgensons to find his mojo. This team has a ton of young talent on both offense and defense.

I think that we need to keep Pommer around as our savvy vet and either trade Vanek, buyout Vanek, or let him walk as he is a UFA after 2014.

Can't say I've had that problem. My insurance company took care of everything really quick when I needed them.

Don't forget about that guy Girgensons we drafted 2 spots after Grigorenko this year. Our center depth for the future is solid as far as I'm concerned. Defense is beyond stacked. I just hope we see Enroth back to form cause after Miller say's peace to the east coast for his wife, we're gonna need a goalie, and fast.

Great interview with Myers too. Kid's gotta great demeanor. Definite C for this team in the coming years. Absolutely.
