Another two points and a +2 for Corrado today. McEneny has scored a goal two games in a row.

Is he ahead of some of our AHL players on the depth chart do you think?

@HockeyyInsiderr: #LEAFS offer ON THE TABLE by new GM NONIS for Luongo: pick (1st OR 2nd) + COMBO of 2 out of 3 players Kadri/Bozak/Gunnarsson.

Hard to say. He fit right in nicely and was effective after junior last season when he joined Chicago. That doesnt mean it would have played out long term but a year later and definite improvement shown in junior...who knows? He's ready for the Wolves next season without a doubt. He could be a stand out in next years Canucks camp and stick. Common sense would have him finishing on Kitchener this season and then helping the Wolves again. There's no room for him now. I think he will most likely get a full year in the AHL before the coaches go with him personally.

We'll get a sample soon and we'll all have predictions thats for sure..

I'd take the 1st, Kadri, and Gunnarsson. Doesn't solve the problem at centre, but it's a decent package.

Thats more or less been the standard for the last couple of months. The most popular being Bozak, Kadri and a conditional 1st if they make playoffs or 2nd if not...

I don't like the players much at all. I see it a deal Gillis makes tho... Kadri has fallen out of favor, something Gillis seems to gamble on for high reward. Gillis went after Bozak out of college and gave him an offer sheet. Bozak took the Leafs offer instead. Hard to blame Bozak looking at the stacked Canucks roster at the time. Gillis likes him.

So you're saying the rumour is only the equivalent of an E3?

I'm aware of the source. The guy was a member of HB. Just posting my thoughts on the alleged offer, as the poster requested.

I would take Bozak Gunner and the 1ST

I imagine it is conditional of the playoffs.

Gunnarsson is the only player of actual value in the offer, IMO. Kadri could still be an NHLer, but like you said, he's more of a reclamation project.

The 1st rounder has the most value. It's a deep draft, and it or the Canucks 1st could be a valuable trade chip at the deadline.

If the Leafs sign Lu the average age of the Leafs would jump from 19 to 30

Don't like Bozak. I honestly feel the Canucks can fill that hole at centre just as well with someone from within the organization. Kadri has a higher ceiling, if he ever pulls it together.

I have a feeling Nonis' age is about to double as well. He already took that familiar beet red about to explode look he had last time he was handed Burkes job.

To me the big part is Gunner and the 1 st .

Iam wondering if we get a solid D what happens to Edler? We will find out in the next few days. If they can't resign him and we have Gunner then we could look at Edler for a very decent center.

He's looking a little Burkie these last two days. Miserable and red.

Same as gillis .Looks like he and Hitchcock dine at the same places. That GMs buffet must be wicked.

Agreed. Gunnar makes Ballard expendable. The 1st is the clincher.

I don't dislike Bozak, but he has little to no value in a trade. Sounds like Gillis likes him, though. I hope he's capable of playing D better than he has to this point in his career.

I don't care eithr way with Kadri or Bozak. I do hope we pick up a 2 year center in the meantime until Gaunce is ready for 3 rd line.

Gillis looks like he's suffering high blood pressure as well..

There's alot of pressure on Gillis right now. The Luongo trade, how much money will the owner have to eat because of that contract, the decision to keep AV, the Hodgson trade and the current hole in the middle, rookie starting GT, another year without a drafted player in the line up possibly? Gillis' years are adding up... he has to show last year was just one step back in a difficult season. Otherwise it is a case of 1 step foward and two back... Aquilini doesnt (frank) around...
