His time is running out on showing he can be a solid top 6 player, pretty quickly. I'd say this year is pretty much going to tell everything. I don't think he'll ever be a top line guy, but I'm still holding out hope for a 50ish point winger for the second line.

And I don't think he gets traded either. Im not convinced Toronto trades for Luongo at all, and hope they don't.

I've been convinced since June Lu is going to toront. Makes to much sense. Van will not get Gardiner, Rielly etc. Nor will they take komi. It will be a Bozak package. I think there is a chance Gunnersson will be in the package but believe that Bozak, Ashton and Finn/Percy/Franson is more likely.
I have Florida as my 2nd bet for Weiss and Clemmonson

The difference is, Luongo is a #1 goaltender and has a half decent resume. All komisarek has is lucic's knuckles tattooed on his forehead

I find the leafers pretty comical. A week ago 80% of them said komi and a 3rd is as good of deal as Lu would fetch. Now suddenly Bozak and Gunnersson or Bozak and prospects or Lupul seems reasonable. Times are as changing

I think Laff fans are going to be mad no matter what unless they get Lu for a 7th round pick. If we get Gardiner or Reilly in a deal, I think NOBODY will ever remember that we had two Stanley Cup riots.
