another piece going which way? Isles way?
I've always liked Yandle, and willing to do
Okoposo + Grabner
for
Yandle + #1 pick
helps your offense immediately, plus your loaded on D - Ur Not Me

There's a deal to be made here between the Oilers and Coyotes. David Rundblad is the prospect I'd want...well, actually I'd want Gromley, but there's zero chance he gets dealt. I was nagging the Oilers in my blogs to get Rundblad off of Ottawa before he ended up in Phoenix.
You're probably looking at a Magnus Paajarvi for Rundblad straight up deal, although I'm not crazy about it because I'm not ready to give up on Maggy. I suppose there are other options here, but I'm not sure it's anything the Coyotes actually want. Example: Anton Lander and a 2nd round pick, or Tyler Pitlick and a 2nd.
A deal for David Schlemko seems more likely between Edmonton and Phoenix. Everyone keeps saying how Linus Omark has value? Well, here it is. Omark and pick for Schlemko. |

I could see them moving Morris to a team on the outside looking in come the trade deadline this year, regardless of where they sit in the standings. Even Tampa Bay would probably have him for one of their forwards. Morris for Malone? Something of that nature, but i admit i dont know Malones' trade value, got him in my Fantasy team though |

We've already decided. It's Morris for Horcoff and a third. |

I think you'd need to add more than Read for Rundblad. while he is good, like you said, he's a little older.
Rundblad has all the makings of a franchise puckmover (similar to guys like karlsson and doughty). not saying he'll be as good, but the potential is there. I think that read will need to show he can do it for at least another year before he has any highend value, IMO. I'd be suspect of a guy who comes out of nowhere to have a great season at the age of 26......jonathan cheechoo anyone? - sensarmy_11
Considering Rundblads age, I would offer Matt Read and a 1st. |

So you think Edmonton would take a guy with 17 goals in 121 games who was demoted to the AHL last year for a promising young defenseman? Did I miss the sarcasm??? |

HAHAHAHA. Gags, Mags and a 2nd wouldn't get you OEL, nevermind Gromley. |

Hear talk about an Ottawa/Chicago deal with Bishop and Zach Smith being considered in return for some of the talent in the Hawks system. Phoenix has a great collection of young D men and Ottawa should talk with them before closing any deal with the Hawks. Ottawa also has some great prospects in their system and on their roster and you think that a big deal could help both teams.
Murray has a good reputation for doing fair trades. He understands you need to pay a fair price for top talent. I think they could do a very big deal that would help both teams immediately. |

If there is a dman I'd be willing to trade yakupov for its oel
Maybe there is a deal there with the base around those two.
Or to a lesser extent I'd do Maggie and a 2nd rounder for gormley. |

I'm alsmost afraid of saying Morris for Horcoff, both can do no good but they can also do no harm, also Tippett might jump start Horcoff's career in a certain way like he did with Klesla , Pyatt and others. - Alexzanki
yeah, but edmonton already has a bunch of "morris" type guys to play in the 5-6-7 spot. they need a top 4, and just because morris would be on the oilers top 4, doesn't mean he's top 4 quality.
it would be a great trade to unload horcoff's salary, but wouldn't really help edmonton on D, IMO. |

I could see a deal with Boston.
Yandle for Krejci + some sort of pick or decent prospect. |

I could see Stone and Rundblad both making the team. Gormley is looking like hes haveing a rough time to start out his pro career. Rundblad seems to be making the right transition this year. |
