I was wondering if The Devils would consider buying Kovalchuck out of his contract with the amnesty clause. Clearly he is currently worth they type of money he is getting now but in all reality he will be way overpaid 3 or 4 years from now and that kind of contract could cripple the Devils franchise down the road. Just wondering what Devils fans think.

I kind of want to see Butler with Kovy. Kovy is the best at creating offense and I think that'll help butler as he won't have as many responsibilities. Also, moving Zubrus to the second line would allow for the line to work as a checking line like last year.

It seems almost all the teams are looking to trade D could be tough for any trades to get done when everyone is looking to part with D to get another F
