The problem with the Islanders is their organization. You have to blame Snow on this one. He should have done is due diligence before making the trade with Anaheim. Since they traded for Visnovski they should have known he doesn't want to play for them. I think it's time to cut bait with him and move on.

Replacing visnovsky right now is critical. It would really speak volumes if Garth went out and traded for a legit dman. I would have respect for Snow if he addressed this hole now

my point is, MOST fans live by the "what have you done for me lately" saying.

if visnovsky comes back and plays well, fans will forgive and forget.

Should have traded Nabby at the deadline with PA. I said it then and still believe it now. I don't care how Vis plays for 48 or hopefully fewer games here. Hopefully he does play well so we trade him ASAP and not make the same mistake again.

I remember.

Not sure what my point was either...I guess that I have about as much loyalty to Nabby as I do to Vis...they could play well, but I'm not one of those people chanting, "Nabby! Nabby!" just because he puts forth a halfway decent effort at the Coliseum. If he backstopped the Isles to the playoffs and became a core part of the team, maybe he'd grow on me. I'll tolerate these people if they play well enough, but the sooner we stop going after 35+ year olds who don't even want to come here, the better as far as I'm concerned.
