Jay Leno is one person who should not be making fun of faces. The Ahole tripped over his chin 4 times lasy month, once he ended up in the hospital

No chance in hell.

Can you imagine the first time Schneider sh!ts the bed and gets pulled . Lu comes and saves the day and goalie controvery all over again. We need a center not a 5.3 Mil backup.

The leafs need to find a decent starting goalie before complaining what Burke is resigning Scrivens too

I though Gillis was going to give Arnott an invite? Bad idea? When kesler comes back he would fit in on the 3rd line. Thoughts..

He wouldn't really be a backup though, it would be like the Halak-Elliot situation in STL. I just don't believe that MG has gotten any serious offers that he'd consider.

Gillis has been saying for the last couple of days that we shouldnt expect much for new faces or young players in camp. He admits it's not what they were saying before the lockout but that all changed.

What baffles me is the only way plans changed is if they didnt believe they would lose almost half a season. Everyone else expected this or worse...

I have counted 11 467 you have posted this . We get it . He's another fact we don't care what you think.

I doubt they do it before the season. But if they do it wont be much of a return...

I really dont think the NW is going to be the cakewalk it once was for the Canucks. Wild, Oilers, Colorado all improved. Canucks? What have they improved?

11 468...

I'm not either but a hole needs to be filled. I don't think Schroeder is that guy yet. I have hopes he will but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I agree. This team doesn't need age and experience, it needs skill and size.

I think most of us think it is a good idea. Arnott has locker room issues I hear but he could still be effective.

When a team doesn't care whether they miss the playoffs ,then it makes little sense trying to talk.

I could care less if it is 10 15 or 20 years Leafs miss. I can tell you there is nothing that is available in the draft next year that would bring immediate relief to the Leafs playoff drought.

For the number of years that Leafs have missed the playoffs they should look more like Minny or Fla and not like CBJ.

Burke has done a very poor job on building this team and you have little more that we have on the farm and we draft 25 most years.

Your goalies stink . You have 3 Dmen on your entile farm team and pro team, that are worth noticing. Your forwards are embarrassing, so keep on missing the playoffs, and keep hoping on NEXT YEAR.

MG should have not gotten any offers at all never mind decent ones or bad ones. There is no CBA as of yet no business can be conducted. Lets see what happens after both sides signs the contract.

The only way I see Gillis keeping him all year is if there is a trade with Flyers or NYI in place before next season

I'm thinking that after this year, we need to get younger in forward core. Our D is set for at least another couple of years before Hamhuis is up, the Sedins will be ready to move on to no longer being the front-line players they are and Kesler will either be the beast he was in 2010, or blow up. Our forward prospects do not impress me much at all either beyond Kassian and Janssen, the rest top out at bottom 6/maybe able to handle some top 6 minutes.

I think next year Kassian Archibald and Jensen should be ready, that is a good first step. Kadri and Bozak too .

Hey Vantel,

Surely in your eyes Brian Burke would be ranked as one of the top GM's if he could get Luongo (Top 3 Goalie in the league apparantly) for Bozak (College free agent) and Kadri (Draft bust)?
