TSN probably figured since an NHL game hasn't been played in nearly 7 months, teams would be healthy.

Sorry if this was posted, but any thoughts on inviting Knuble to camp? I know our top priority is defense and goaltending, but he could be good guy to have eat up 4th line minutes. I'm not expecting 25 goals from him, but I think he'd be more of an asset than Jody Shelley, and could probably be had for fairly cheap.

I was as big of a Knuble supporter and fan when he was here as anyone. But I think he's done.

Cataldi and his minions in here will be running him out of town after the first loss.

- MBFlyerfan

Michael Barkin and the CSN LIve crew are even worse. During the time they alotted yesterday in discussing the Flyers ( actually had a live interview with Homer) the highlight clips were all goals against Bryz. Not one save. Not the amazing save vs LeTang in game 1 last year. They are NEVER positive when they discuss Brzy, its a goddamn disgrace

This picture is at least 6 months old and probably not indicative of his current game "shape".

Do you see the Bruins as being a dominant team? Also, don't some of the fantasy pools go by individual stats ie; Sp and gaa? So wouldn't Rinne be higher?
- Hextall271

Yes. They are a dominant team. So are the Rangers.

Yea same here. I mean he struggled to stay on a roster last year. I don't expect him to improve.

The Rangers are the team that really scare me. I don't see us competing with them in the East unless we upgrade our D.

Well Briere is already missing 7-10 days of the season.
- PLindbergh31

So basically we will spend a lot less time on the penalty kill.

Honestly, I don't care as long as he is there for the playoffs. Maybe it gives Coots more ice time.

Well, if Briere is out, or if/when we get another injured forward, who do you see as a better call-up?

I used to bash his contract regularly but what he brings the team in the second season turned me around. Given what he's done here and what was going on when he signed with the Flyers I think he's under-appreciated. He's been here long enough and produced enough moments that he's garnered a sentimental perspective.

They ignore his 130-93-27 record, 2.55 GAA, .917 SV%, 21 SO, 52.3 Goalie Point Share during his 4 years in Phoenix. They forgot the brilliant March he had too.

With the contract he signed, it's almost impossible for him not to be criticized. Anytime a big deal like that is inked up, the player almost always ends up getting ripped more than praised.

barkann has become a clown. he's just a caricature. it's embarrassing to see/hear. he is unbearable on tv and radio. his approach to, uh, journalism, is honestly pathetic and reprehensible.
