Wild meat>>>than overly processed grocery store meat.

but like I said, on a moose that big and how old it likely was, the meat would be tough and gamey. that fella shoulda been left alone to die a warriors death.

I like how we make the same post at the same time

The quality of farm-raised meat varies greatly based on the farm's practices. There's a clear difference between a cow that's been allowed to graze, and lives on grass, and one that's force-fed corn in a confined space.

Wild meat can be better, but it depends from animal to animal.

Gonna be spending a lot of time in Algonquin park this year, I think.

60D with a 18-270 telephoto, a 10-20mm wideangle , a few spare batteries and a few 32GB SDs. Can't wait.

On a completely unrelated note, Timmy Panaccio's blog touches on how the Flyers' defence is wafer-thin at the moment due to injuries.

I fear for Schenn's mental health.

Don't know yet. Done a few short trails in winter that I wouldn't mind revisiting in summer for day hikes. Don't know too much about the back country trails though.

Edit: last trail I did was track and tower. Beautiful, but I don't recommend starting it at 2:30pm in winter time
