Sakic has some pretty good players to feed on the power play: Forsberg, Kamensky, C. Lemieux.
But Robbie Earl was traded before Tlusty emerged as a superstar, so it's hard to compare.
Hard, but not impossible.

I just noticed that Robbie Earl has more points in the swiss league than Spezza. Mind you, Spezza is slightly ahead of him in PPG.

If you think about it from a business point of view, having Luongo probably means the Leafs make the playoffs every year he's playing for the Leafs. Considering how much money making the playoffs would mean for the Panthers, Predators and Coyotes organizations, they could potentially think that having him is worth it, even if he retires and the Leafs have to pay a penalty. - Pecafan Fan
