Keep the cap flexibility, stay patient with a young core and a new coach.

Give Reimer a chance, now that he is healthy again.

If by "Elite" you mean "decent 2nd liners", then yea we agree, except that I only think there are 2, maybe 3 on the Leafs.

Kessel finished 6th in scoring last year and Lupul was on pace to finish right behind him before he got hurt.

Van Riemsdyk and Grabovski are 2nd liners....who play on our 2nd line.

MacArthur,Kulemin,Kadri and Frattin all have 2nd line potential.

Unless Komisarek is going the other way, I can't see the Leafs wanting to do this if costs them one or more of their good prospects. If the Leafs suck, there are some good centres that could draft this season like Barkov, Mackinnon and Monahan.
