I really liked the Steve Ott trade for Buffalo, would definitely take him over Derek Roy. |

It won’t be long until 18,690 screaming lunatics raise their beer with one hand then fist-pump their buddy with their free hand after #9 trucks a Bruin or he drops a Maple Leaf with a tire iron of a right upper cut.

Look at his point totals in his career, they are 3rd line numbers at best. Sure he is a pest but I don't think he is feared at all around the league. When I look at a good pest I think of Marchand, Subban, Mike Richards. They can get under opponents skins, but can also put up good numbers. This Buffalo team desperately needs a legitimate scoring center, without that its going to be tough to compete. I dont think they'll be a bottom feeder but struggle to break into the top 8. - fudd1689
Whether your right or wrong, the one thing the Bruins will find out in a hurry is dominating the NE Divsion like they have over the last few years is going to be MUCH tougher this year due to the changes their divisonal opponents have made. Sabres now have several players who will shove it back in the Bruins faces (Ott, Kaleta, McCormick, Foligno, Weber, Scott, Tarnasky), Montreal adding Prust and Armstrong, and Ottawa is always tough to play against with Neil in their line up. The Bruins are rightfully the favorites to win the NE but the physical play and the condensed schedule will take its toll on the Bruins and who knows if Rask can carry the load. I think the NE is going to be the black and blue division in the NHL this year. Here's to Kaleta, Scott, and Ott getting Lucic and Chara off the ice. Exchanging 5 minute majors with those guys is a big win. |

The Sabres did add players who can stand up for themselves against the Bruins, Ill give them that. I think Lucic and Chara wont get caught up in Kaleta and Scotts antics. I could see Ott being able to lure Lucic and Chara into fights but not Scott. The Bruins are a very disciplined team, Claude doesn't let his guys have free range. |

I don't view Neil as a pest, he's an enforcer. If you consider Neil a pest then you would have to classify Thornton, Campbell, Asham, ect. |

Your splitting hairs. I think you have your own definition of a pest. Neil plays a lot more than Thornton or Asham. He plays special teams, fights, chips in with the occasional goal. He is the best agitator/pest/enforcer in the conference if you ask me |

As much as I am not a Neil fan . He can play the game . So I would say he is much more than enforcer . Opposing teams need to be aware of him on the ice .

Ill give you Neil as the best in the conference. I just think there are different levels of pests. Some guys can play that chippy role and be offensive players and then you have guys who just play the pest role like a Carcillo. |

I wouldnt call him an enforcer. The true heavy weights are enforcers, he isnt a heavy weight. |

Check out the game he played against FSU. Led a comeback against a top FBS defense. His movement is under rated. He can be a Matt Shaub with a better arm. We should be basing our offense off play action, we need a QB who can push the ball downfield. |
