Hall, Eberle, and Schultz were yanked from the Oilers farm team, the Oklahoma City Barons roster a few hours before game time on Sunday. I haven't looked at the box score from the game, but I'm pretty sure the Barons had to dress a couple of cardboard cutouts of Wayne Gretzky in order to have a full roster.

Oh, and the Wayne Gretzky cardboard thingy...there is a antique shop here that bought a huge Gretzky cutout...They've been sticking it outside their store every day, and I'm absolutely horrified because it's going to get ruined. I want to buy it and give it away on here or Twitter as a way of saving it from destruction.


When I heard about the roster mess for OKC today, I thought about the Gretzky.

WOW Trade: I think it never was to happen, look at the timing of it. Start of the season that ended up being a lockout, everyone was already getting pissed off at the games both sides were playing, and Katz's face plant with the new building that got everyone so absolutely furious. Suddenly... a "WOW" trade. hmmm

I have though no confidence in the management of this team, and even if they did have such a trade, they would have screwed it up somehow, or traded our top 2 defense man that eats up minutes for a bottom pairing defense man. Oops...
