It's a catch 22. You Blitz and you cause a turnover or a sack, or you blitz and you get burned for a huge gain. I agree it was annoying we didn't Blitz at all this season

Wilson, Kaepernick, Dalton, Cousins, we were too good for any of them who are 1 week away from all having playoff experience

yup that is a good point. we shouldnt have blitzed a ton more but a little bit more would have been nice. i would have liked to see more variety from our defensive schemes inspite of the talent level but what do i know.

I agree, Belicheck sometimes did not have elite the defensive side of the ball but always found ways to confuse QB's and cause turnovers

Hate to burst your bubble, but the NHL hasn't settled on the length of season yet. The league sent out a memo informing teams that the season will start by January 19th, and to be ready.

Pierre Lebrun commented this evening that 50 games and a January 15th start date is still possible. It depends on how long it takes for the PA and NHL Board of Governors to ratify the new CBA, and if teams can all fit the two extra games into their schedules.

Considering the money in play, the players and owners would all prefer 50 over 48, if possible.

No question target is 50-game, not 48-game, season. Speculation is it would be 5 games vs 4 division rivals and 3 games vs 10 Conf rivals.

It would be a nice jesture on the league to offer it to all returning customers for a low price of $50... I am kind of on the fence about it.. with a compressed schedule i have a feeling i am not goign to be able to watch all the games like in the past thus i will not get as much out of it as i have in the past
