I really like Dominic Moore. I think the guy has decent offensive capability but plays more on the defensive side of the puck. Decent faceoff man (which we are terrible at). I think he'd fit right in.

And, it kind of helps us because we don't know what to expect from Gionta, Bernier, or Carter. They had a hell of a run last year, but we have no idea how they will play this year. Gionta is the one I'm most scared about. If everyone gets healthy, Moore could play a lot of PK minutes and fourth line duty, he'd be a pretty damn strong fourth liner.

I do too. As I was typing it, I was like what a line, it's arguably just as good as that third line, if you ask me....

Moore? eh. Carter is a capable center and I thought Gio was pretty solid. Why do you think that line is a mystery? Whenever they were together they played well together and with lots of energy. Moore is alright. I just don't see the need.

We're terrible at face offs though and realistically it probably cost us the cup. We couldn't win in any zones.

No. There's a reason that gionta, with all of 12 career games under his belt, was called up when JJ was hurt. Carter can't handle the responsibilities and it really effected the whole line. Its night and day with him on the wing vs him at center.

Hate to sound like a Buzz Killington over here but looking at this years draft in a shortened season I would almost rather suck. don't be heroes, Devils!!
