I never expected to bail on the game. I knew I'd be watching whenever the CBA got done, and I will eventually go back to buying tickets and merchandize. There's too much passion & love for the game and team not to
- Jsaquella

My view is that is CBA is behind us now for years to come so, as hardcore fans, we should rally around the game and make it better. Boycotts, financial protests, and expressions of anger (via abstinence of some sort) are meaningless and will not now have any impact on the proper targets-Gary and Don. Further, I see no benefit in self deprivation. Enjoy. Fully Embrace the game, don't look back.

So, you'll politely refuse on those nights when there's a spare ticket floating around your house, right? Or will you go because it's your civic duty to give a few bucks to the concessioneers?

Well... I guess I worded that poorly.

I think we'd draft a forward because we don't draft by organizational need..

Does the 2 buyouts start immediately when deal is signed or have to wait until summer etc...not sure how this will work? Could there become a good dman from a buyout soon for us to upgrade right away??

It would be for the summer, after the shortened season. The immediate cap is $70.2mm, so there's no need to buy anyone out right now

If they can use the buyout on injured guys, I fully expect Pronger to be one of the amnesty buyouts.

If Pronger can play, I'd be ecstatic. I would love to see him be able to continue his career.

That said, his health and future with his family is the most important thing.

I would be so happy if that were the case, but from all I have heard that's not the case. Retire with dignity and await the call to the HHOF.

That's another reason I'd buy him out if allowed. Let him officially retire and see him enshrined in 3 years
