We could use a bit of a summary. So far it's been said that they agreed on a 10-year term and what else? Nada?

"The only thing better than how unrealistically excited everyone is on Twitter right now would be this evening watching public reaction if negotiations go sour and the Disclaimer is given to the league. I'm a little diseased that way. It's sort of like going to a car race: I either want to see the guy I'm cheering for win, or I want to see a 20 car pileup around turn #3. Anything in between would be a huge disappointment."

Is this writer always a dweeb?

In my league, since Saudi thinks unions are as forbidden as eating pigs, you'll have no lockout problems since all the player will be slaves performing for our enjoyment all year long!

I hope their salaries at least mirror what they received during the last CBA... Some of these guys have families to feed!

"Actually, I think the teams from Group B are going to absolutely run over the teams in Group A during the playoffs in the tournament. I have the USA beating the Czechs, and the Russians beating the Swiss...Which sets up a Canada/USA semi-final and a Russia/Sweden semi-final. There's no way Canada loses to the Americans, but Russia/Sweden is a toss-up. If Sweden didn't have their four best defensemen missing from the tournament due to injury, I'd bet my money on them over Russia. But the situation is what it is, and we haven't seen the best from Nail Yakupov yet. If Nail wakes up, Sweden could be toast.

All things considered, we're looking at a Canada/Russia final, and that's okay with me considering how we clobbered them last time. No other team can match the roster depth Canada has."

He may as well do that, union bosses are "socialist whores" trying to swindle hard-earned money and benefits to workers from kind-hearted employers. Unions are illegal there.

He should be praised for his efforts, not executed because of them. For far too long, NHL employees have been enslaved, earning "wages" that doesn't even place them near the poverty line. This madness has to stop! I will not rest until every member of the NHLPA has access to clean water, food, and shelter.
