well Fehr set the tone for himself by showing up late without notification so many times.

so even now, when he does advise, its still taken as negative. deservedly so as well.. he made his own bed when it comes to this.

As an entity yes....as a team no.....not until they got replacement players...which the Leafs and league would begin to promote and sell to the fan.
The Leafs and every other team are not selling "hey come see a hockey game" to their fans. They are selling "hey come see Kessel, Phaneuf...or if you are the Oil ....Eberle and Hall"

the PA has shown up late WITHOUT advising... the NHL has not.

thats the problem.. meetings get pushed back all the time.. but its only sheisty if you dont tell the other side you are going to be late.

a product has zero value with a medium to sell it

for the players to state we are the product fine.. they are. however, without a means of offering that product to the public the product is worth nothing.

the NHL players are really nothing more than a bunch of under educated athletes (there are exceptions) with nowhere to play.

i am not sure if they no showed completely ever.

but they have run late without notifying. Fehr deserves the flak he gets for any legit rescheduling now due to this.
