You sir are a moron.
Who holds the Flyers shutout record again? He does make alot of money and if he does horrible, then yeah consider buying him out. But as everyone mentioned there arent alot of options that would be more cost efficient, and Bryz does have the potential to be a legit #1 tendy.
Long story short, You= Moron - Trainfellow
welcome to the party pal

contending but maybe not getting over the top with a cheap tandem > contending but maybe not getting over the top with super pricy bryz. - OrangeBlack27
if you say so. Those guys don't give the hilarious sound bytes like bryz does. |

Holmgren was asked today regarding the availability of Giroux and Briere, and he gave the ominous no comment answer.
It will be a hoot if these guys aren't ready to play if/when the season starts. - PLindbergh31
I find it odd that this comment was made at exactly 4:20. Feeling a bit spritely today officer? |

Question for my fellow Flyers fans:
How does Nashville handle Rinne and Weber if the cap drops and theres literally no room to add the talent they've always been promised?
Combined both those guys have a cap hit of 14.8 through 2019... Those deals are obviously too huge for Nashville to just buy out so yeah, their future should be interesting.
Kind of glad the Flyers struck out on all those huge deals this summer to be honest. |

Even if the Cap is 60M next year, Nashville still has 14M of Cap space with most of their key players signed already. They'll just need to deal with Hornqvist.

That's 14 million to split between 9 RFA/UFA spots. I dont know how they expect to bring in talent outside the draft. |

Mostly all players that Q offers will take care of. They don't expect to outside of the draft.

That is kind of my point. Wasn't that Weber's big issue with the team? With him and Rinne they aren't bringing in anyone else big without major holes elsewhere.
Frankly I don't know what they should do with Weber if the cap drops. That cap hit is just too huge for a low to mid 60s capped league. It would definitely affect his trade value. |
