There are so many negative paralells and circumstances that are/were associated with DP being picked. Him being picked was so remarkably negative to this team and its well being that it's comical at this point.

I have no problem with MM drafting him... But making him the first pick as a shot to Luongo when he would have been available at 5 is the worst move ever by that moron of a GM. In that draft we could have drafted Heatley or Gaborik at #1 & then the 5 on DP. Major Epic F'in Fail

Maybe he will retire and take a job with the team. If he can't play more than 2 games in a German b league, maybe he will take it upon himself to just give it up. We can only hope. If it was up to Garth snow, he would buy him out. He hasn't drafted a bunch of goalies for no reason.

I feel like the NCAA has gotten better over the years. There's been some real good hockey players coming outta colleges recently. Maybe im wrong but i feel like its more so now than in years past.

yep, but with all that young talent in EDM, he will put up numbers, but he hasnt impressed at all......Grigorenko has been impressive, and thats the guy I wanted Isles to draft, but everyone here got mad at me and said not another Russian,"which I understand" but the kid was committed to the NHL

The only thing that makes sense to me is Wang doesnt wanna throw away money buying him out, when the insurance can probably kick in when Ricky continues his injuries. To me thats the only reason for not buying him out. Wang might be many things, but stupid isnt one of them..

If you remember he didn't use the amnesty buyout on Yashin either, he waited a year & took the yearly hit. The guy figures if he has to pay someone, its gonna count towards what he has to pay to field this money losing team.
