My biggest weakness has always been skating. Was mostly the reasons why the coaches were scratching me when I was trying for competitive levels

Up untill Midget where coaches are smarter and noticed even if I wasn't fast I had good anticipation and positionning, which is as much important as skating.

Ya I didn't have the best teachers. And I have to take a good part of the blame too. My parents tried to subscribe me to Speed skating and power skating camps, but I hated it... If I only knew how much it would help...

Skating is the basis of hockey. Can't believe coaches try to teach kids how to play the PP and PK when the kids can barely stand on their feet...
