habs win the lottery, select Jones 1st overall trade to edmonton for Yakupov! done deal
....but seriously i doubt the habs even get a top 5 pick, we havent failed enough to get the 'crosby-pitts specialty' if Gary were to give any favors it would be to the leafs - 7 years failing excellence
also...i would still select Barkov over drouin despite the WJC - Habitants98
really????

I think Gary owns the leafs, the habs and the rangers one.
I say Montreal, Toronto and New York should pick 1, 2 and 3 in no particular order. |

He has the potential to be on a top line in the NHL. We only have three Forwards with that kind of potential as prospects. Him, Galchenyuk, and Kristo. - QuebecPride

Cloutier stole all my ideas about why Yakupov probably wont work in Edmonton lol
and the big bright lights of MTL would be perfect and we'd have an incredible line with Galy-Yaks for years to come......but like i said i doubt the Habs even get a top 5 pick

please stop taking it so seriously ppl (since when is anything serious in here anyways) |

i guess you missed the next sentence that starts with ' ....but seriously....'
either way if the habs somehow get into a position where they CAN pick seth jones it'd be great, but i'm not sure about having essentially 2 Subbans when they have other more pressing holes to fill |

Gone are the sneers and jeers about his toughness and his will to win. This kid has become a stone cold killer, on the world stage. He's used his big body, vision, skating, hands, and mind
to dominate oppoenents in all three zones.

They don't play a similar game at all. Jones is a smoother skater, and recognizes better the situation, whether to go or not, than any kid of his age. He's also way better than Subban defensively at the same age. He's also 4 inches bigger.
The Hawks won the cup with Brian Campbell and Duncan Keith, don't see what's wrong with having Subban and Jones on the same team. You're fooling yourself if you say you wouldn't one of the top10 players in this draft on the habs... I'm sorry but that's the reality. |
