At the risk of sounding homer, I would have loved to see Hudon play today. Certainly wouldn't have been worse for Canada. Here's one guy who creates offense from nothing. - QuebecPride
They didn't lost individually, they lost because they couldn't play as a team. USA did what it takes, put pressure on the puck, be patient, put shots on net and go in traffic. Canada did that the first ten minutes of the 3rd period. |

Even on the PP he takes poor decisions. But he wasn't the only one sucking on D, i expected a lot more from Hamilton. And Harrington wasn't as efficient as last year. - Habsody
Ouellet also had a terrible game. Looked like a peewee on the 4th goal. |

He looked slow tonight. Wotherspoon has been the most consistent and physical D for Canada. Reilly did pretty well too, skates very well and makes a good first pass. |

They were all bad tonight.
Reilly kept taking the puck from behind his net, skate all the way until in the USA zone, and then he would shoot the puck from 15-20 feet away on Gibson with absolutely no traffic in front of the net.
The USA D would just take the rebound and counter attack. |

I meant during the tourney, but Canada's forwards weren't very creative nor were they driving the net. Their big line didn't step up and Spott looked lost behind the bench. He started playing with his lines in the 3rd as the game was lost. At least Galchenyuk can win the gold and since i'm up i will watch the Sweden vs Russia game. I have a feeling they were up all night partying and drinking vodka. They didn't play physical, they were extremely slow, zero emotion.
All they needed was Gomez on the team and I would of though the Habs were playing. |

Did you go to Victo/Drummond to watch McDavid? - Habsody
I did. He was worth the 15$ bucks himself. But I even got to see Ho-Sang, Dal Colle, Eichel, Ekblad, Da Sousa, Bennett and such. Was lots of fun.
I'm heading up to Drummond tonight for the game between QC/SWE, should be a good game. Sweden has no defeat, beating the Russians. Hearing lots of good things about Nylander.
As for Audette Shafter, he's really talented, and he has looked good in the U-17 against guys of his age. But my favourite player on QC team, is definitely Aubé-Kubel from Val -D'or. 2nd is Carl Neill from the Phoenix. These two should be in the talks for the 1st round in the 2014 NHL draft. Also love big Pépin, picked right behind Audette at the Draft. Less talented, but has lots of drive and thrives physically. |

It won't be an easy game Marty. Whether they play Russians or Swedes.

M'eh. Big difference in this game is the D's.
McCabe, Trouba, Jones and Murphy are outplaying Hamilton, Rielly, Ouellet and Harrington.
Also, Murphy is terribad. - QuebecPride

Yeah, wouldn't be surprised if they don't even medal this time around.
That was quite the spanking they got this morning. |

Definitely. I'm not the biggest fan of Murray, but he's better than any other for Canada, besides Rielly IMO. |

Will probably teach Canada to invite all the best players to the camp, instead of leaving some aside in fear of seeing them outplay their favourite ones.
Snake70 is crazy to say they should have invited McDavid though...
Can't stand the guy(snake). |
