That was a sick game - AdamFrench
PVR'D the game and was watching it in delay, but it stopped after 2h30 minutes, so I couldn't watch the end of the OT and the SO
Pretty good game indeed. Maybe this will give a little help to Andrighetto to get drafted.
Also EE, no WJC talks? Come on man.... |

M'eh. Have you at least watched it? Also, do you still think I'm an OJ Simpsonish liar for saying I watch hockey streams of NCAA hockey?
Guess Marty is right afterall, Montréal is not a sports city, nor a hockey city, but a Habs city.... |

Guys like Gionta, Cole, Bourque, Pacs, Moen, Price have not played since last April, I don't expect much and let's be honest...the team hasn't improved since last year skill wise, the D still sucks, guys who had career years (Cole/Pacs) will have a hard time repeating. This would be a GREAT year to suck and grab another top 5 pick. - Symba007
Pacs will continue his rise.....Cole....not so much.

I've watched every game.
Exciting.
Not sure about Canada for gold. Think they have great players, and if Subban can stay on form, they should win. But the competition is stiff, and their depth is questionable.
No one has really stood out on the blue line for me...

Because he, along with most other Montréal sports journalist couldn't talk about anything and weren't writing as often as they usually do. I'm not blaming EE, because he's far from the only writer who slowed down this year. But there certainly are other alternatives. Just shows you how big Habs are here. They've taken every hockey related media attention that we barely talk about junior hockey. That, even if there's a team in the Greater Montreal area.
Rare are the ones who stopped covering the talks that were going nowhere to go watch junior hockey, or even MAAA.
Got to give it to TVASports who found alternatives in Bulldogs/'Q games. RDS didn't even care about the fans. They finally are going to show KHL games, but guess what, NHL's coming back...
I mean EE's bread and butter is the NHL, but I would have liked to see him talk about something else, for once...
I'm sure I'm not alone. |

You watched games at the Ice Palace?
As far as the blue line goes, I disagree. Ouellet, Wotherspoon and Rielly have been rather solid. Hamilton has been quiet. Murphy is horrid. And Harrington had up and downs..
Moving Drouin up and Huberdeau down will spread the skill more IMO and will help the 2nd line be even more dangerous with Rattie and Strome.
As Stormey pointed, the depth is there.
Pretty sad that Hudon injured himself in the pre-tournament edition. You might wanna catch a game of Chicoutimi, he's lots of fun to watch. |
