I disagree. I think Betman and Fehr hate each other so much. I think Fehr is someone you can not trust. He has the players believing that the owners created this mess with the lockout. But look what he did with baseball. They played baseball all season with the hopes of getting a deal done during the season in 94 (like he wanted to do with the NHL), but towards the end of the baseball season, he got the players to strike. THIS IS what Betman wanted to prevent. Fehr would have used the leverage of no playoffs to his benefit, and Betman, and the owners knew it, and that is why we have the lockout.

That isn't why there is a lockout. To look at why there is a lockout. Look for the reasons why the League has financial issues. That points you in the rght direction.

MMMMM i have seen so many times on the news that Fehr has stated that they were willing to play while negotiating. Do not fool yourself to think that Betman and the league have not done there due dilegance on a background check on Fehr. They know what he did during negotiations with MLB, and that is what they are trying to prevent.
