anything short of a comprehensive counter offer from the pa will spell disaster... if fehr tries to counter only a point or 2 of the nhl's last offer, bettman will lose it.
fehr will go down as the biggest sport killer of all time. |

Yes, all Fehr's fault. Where was he the last two lockouts? 3 lockouts, so far, in Bettman's tenure. What a legacy, I say! The league wanted the moon and should we expect the PA to fall at their feet? There is plenty of blame to go around but when the owners didnt want to play ball from the start, you could tell they could give a poop if they lost the season, when it came to the finances. The league locked out the players, signed an agreement, supposedly because they liked it and then years after the fact when it expires tries to plead their case saying they can't survive. The silence of the owner's speak volumes. So what? They have no opinions? |

Nah, they are smart enough to STFU and let the guy they have in charge do his job, talking to the media does nothing to help move things along. Most players that talked to the media have put their foot in their mouth and push the fans away further. |

Fehr was off causing strikes, law suits, and lockouts in baseball. 6 of his last 7 CBA negotiations have resulted in labour stoppages.

Fehr will hold out and kill this season. I know the comments are no where near the actual topic, but I am trying to have a life outside of hockey, just ask my imaginary girlfriend Mary Palm. |

And let's not forget that many of the comments the players made were put in the League's lawsuit, to be used against them. The League was smart to muzzle the Owners.
