PA still (frank)ing around, still posturing, drawing this thing out so that the owners have little time to respond to the counter before January 2nd. this is absolutely unreal. 6000 lawyers and they need 3 days to understand a 300-page document? cannot imagine how badly the owners must want to push Fehr out of a plane.

Most of those 300 pages are just basic language that you would find in any contract...I am sure the issues at hand represent less than 20 pages. Fehr is playing his cards to squeeze as much as possible, he knows the owners are desperate to get a deal done BUT I don't think the owners really care about Jan 2nd, it's not like the PA will go nuclear if they are in the middle of negotiation on the 2nd.

well the owners can't be sure about Jan 2. Fehr has flushed a lot of PA money down the toilet already so it's not out of the question that he files. he counters on 12/31, giving the owners 1 day. i get that he's antagonizing, but to this extent... wow. it's just a dangerous game.
