Soooooo you call him a troll cause he pointed out your mistake? Is Can short for Canada in your "Considering Sweden won Gold and Can didn't even medal" part of your response? Cause I thought we won bronze. Or is that not considered a medal. - ruttager17
You mean for pointing out what i had already pointed out 5 comments prior to his comment.
If he's going to come on here and just pick one comment and attack it, without reading the rest of the conversation for context. Then yes, I'd say there is an element of trolling to it.
If I were the Leafs and they were picking second overall, how could they say no to this guy, if McKinnon went first? They already have a glut of young defensemen, but need a centre. But a young Pronger? You can't say no! - PrinceLH
I highly doubt he will become anything close to Pronger. Far too many times we see defenseman rated highly only to fail to meet the unrealistic expectations placed on them.

Ok ok, just settle down. frenchie is a good guy and he gets a free pass for life because of his wonderfully delicious spoof of Clout's blog a lil while back.
Now as for your RNH comments. I find it very interesting as well what he may take away from this tournament. On one hand, he has a year of NHL experience under his belt, on the other, he may learn from being a peer to younger players and being looked up to on the team, as compared to being the youngest player on a pro team. Either way, the experience cannot hurt him. Unless he gets hurt. Then that can hurt him.

I saw Pronger play, in Junior. This guy is the closest I've seen to the same style of player. He has all of the tools, with the size and skating. He'll be a 30 minute defenseman, playing in all situations. Anyone who passes on this guy, after McKinnon, will rue the day that they took someone else.

Im not saying he isnt the #2 prospect, I am completely convinced that he is. But I heard the same things about Larsson being compared to Lidstrom. Im just saying ill believe it when I see it.

Sorry good sir but as a peon I only have one page of comments, Clouts has 4-7, I'm not used to such trials of forward readership.
And I come in all the time. Just because it takes 20 seconds doesn't make it any less admirable.
well i guess Duby answered the Bernier vs Dubnyk debate from earlier if i was an oilers fan after that game i'd be even more pumped, now all you guys need is a few minute crunching D
I was looking back five years at the 2008 nhl draft. Was looking at things if a re do was done where players would have been drafted my opion was. 1)Stamkos (1)

4)Eberle (22)
5)Doughty (2)
6)Bogosian (3)

i'm a fan of bogo, but i dont see how you can have him higher than Carlson or Myers the numbers and play tell a different story since that draft
furthermore you also put Del Zotto higher than the previously mentioned 2 even though he couldnt keep a job on the Rangers the lineup for a while and was terrible on the defensive side, pretty much until this last year
Derek Stepan being that high above a few others is also suspect

Don't worry frenchie you're pretty cool beans according to the rest of us.
I am still waiting for his response on the "Can didn't even medal" part. - ruttager17
I don't think there is anything wrong with Frenchie, nor do i have any problem with him.
It's not his fault that all the good bloggers took all the good teams, and he's stuck with some team that nobody other than thier 12 fans give a crap about

so you do the same thing but on the other end by assuming he wont even come close....well stated
All I know, is McKinnon has some competition for number 1 overall. Seth Jones looks like a young Pronger out there. Who wouldn't want the next Pronger? McKinnon is closer to a Taveras with wheels. - PrinceLH

Looking at your opinion ide agree with what you said otherwise you agree
I'm not sure Cherry is a racist, but he does stick up for Canadians, to a fault. Give him a break, he's 80 years old, he doesn't think like we do. He's from a different generation. - LeftCoaster
no. he is a racist. or at least an ethnocentrist? he has favourites and thinks we are better than them.
he is nauseating. i tuned him out years ago. a dinosaur from a forgotten era

At this point in their careers I'm taking doughty before eberle and karlson, and I love the way eberle plays. Doughty and pietrangelo are almost dead equal in my eyes. You could argue pietrangelo is on the upswing and I do see a Norris in te near future but doughty already has Olympic gold and a cup. Tough choice.
