I'm an insomniac. Without eating a handful of sleeping pills daily, I sleep maybe two hours a day. With sleeping pills, maybe five to six hours. I've been like this since I was 11, so it's not a new development.

Have you ever tried Melatonin?
Bahahahahaha, sorry couldn't resist. I have a touch of the insomnia although not as bad as yours, and every time someone suggests Melatonin I just shake my head

Dubs is looking really good. He doesn't look like a guy who hasn't played net for a long time. Canada looks better every shift. Starting to gel.

Who knows, but what we do know is Klefbom was the best d-man at last year's WJC. He has the award to prove it.

As far as Nuge goes, some would say that his great linemates have had the benefit of receiving his sublime passes.

He has never really taken the leading role on his team, (even in Red Deer he was 2nd line/PP guy.) If he can dominate this tourney and bring home gold, it may turn out to be his coming-out party.

I am very interested to see how he handles it.

Yes, Gormley was best, Klefbom 2nd best according to voting.

Considering Sweden won Gold and Can didn't even medal i think it is arguable as to who was more valuable.

They don't award the Conn Smythe to a player who's team lost in the semi's.

Now how about you quit trolling Cloutier's threads, and go back to writing your blogs that nobody reads or cares enough to comment on.

Great shutout for Duby today. He played awesome. Stopped a bunch of breakaway's, and high quality chances.

That was hardly an insulting comment. He's right, our players have always played the Russians dirty, and for the most part we're proud of it.
.

- steveb12344

Actually, I don’t agree with that. I will readily admit, in the past, Canadian hockey has had it’s phases of downright dirty hockey. The 1972 Summit Series? I think the pride surrounding that is sorely misguided. I personally think incidents like slashing someone’s ankle half off, and out of the series, throat-slashing threats, and beating the hell out of them, are disgusting.

These days, it’s tough, not dirty. We certainly ice bigger, stronger teams that always finish their checks, and that IS different than hockey in many European countries. But it’s not dirty.

I’m not saying you don’t see dirty play by Canadians. I just don’t think you see any more dirty play than any other country. Not these days, anyway.

We have to bust each others balls to keep it real. You think i really care which goalie is better. Just gotta bust some nuts once in awhile.

Would be nice though if they would come up with a universal sarcasm font

All I know, is McKinnon has some competition for number 1 overall. Seth Jones looks like a young Pronger out there. Who wouldn't want the next Pronger? McKinnon is closer to a Taveras with wheels.

Soooooo you call him a troll cause he pointed out your mistake? Is Can short for Canada in your "Considering Sweden won Gold and Can didn't even medal" part of your response? Cause I thought we won bronze. Or is that not considered a medal.

Back up 5 comments before your original one and i had already stated that Klefbom was top 2 next to Gormley.

That and the original conversation was about Klefbom possibly being better than Hamilton at the WJC's.

My point was that Klefbom got an award for his play at last years WJC, while Hamilton did not. So that fact that his award was for 2nd, not 1st wasn't really relevant.Again i had already corrected myself before you even piped up.

I'm afraid you were a day late, and a dollar short there Frenchie.

I'll wait to hear longbottoms opinion before deciding who will go 1st

If I were the Leafs and they were picking second overall, how could they say no to this guy, if McKinnon went first? They already have a glut of young defensemen, but need a centre. But a young Pronger? You can't say no!
