We have a young Giroux, Schenn squared, Couturier, Simmer, Voracek....all will only get better.

We have a hole on D. I don't deny it. But that's been our hole for the last how many years? And they've still pulled through into the dance.

Are they gonna win the cup? Probably not, but hey- ya never know. But I think plenty of playoff games are going to be played in Philly similar to years' past, barring any huge changes in the next CBA, which we can't rule out either....

EDIT: Bryz showed flashes of his Phoenix days on more than one occasion last year, especially in March/April. Without a backup to take time away from him, I feel he could be a very good goalie this year. He needs to play. Did I say he's going to be elite? No I did not. But I think he could EASILY be "good enough". This team will compete for a while.

Sure you added Scott, but the Bruins aren't stupid. Lucic or Chara are smart enough to not fight Scott. All he will be good for is sitting in the box, and no Scott doesn't make the Sabres tougher than the Bruins. The Bruins have Lucic, Horton, Chara, Thorton, McQuaid and Campbell.

Bryz never had the starting job.

He was signed for publicity. The guy he plays behind has some of the best numbers in the league. Bryz in the KHL is tending, when he plays, to the tune of (around) a .911 SV % and 2.25 GAA. That's fine in my eyes.

Fleury was having very good regular season but poor playoff performance last year. It was like very good WJC until he shoot the puck on Cobourn ass to score against himself...
