Plus when you're gonna be surrounded by a 3, 6, 8 year old for 5 days u need to get energy any way u can

I think in a short season the unpredictibility will be insane. Some teams that are usually contenders will end up shockingly missing the playoffs while some usual duds will surprise us by making the playoffs. Anything insane can happen in a short season. Boston has been known to get off to slow starts, while a team like the Islanders have been know to start strong.

So just being in a tighter checking conference with similar production I guess Pommers is elite also.

The reason the loafs lose so many games down the stretch is because other teams pick up the pace. the one season they won some games in the stretch was cause they only ever win against the backup goaltenders. the idiot media was hyping the loafs d a few years ago and it turned out to be crap.

He also plays on a team that is ALL about defense, and still puts up near a point per game, pretty consistently. There aren't too many that consistently put up a point per game these days.

And 80ish point player on a defensive team, that is big, good defensively, kills penalties, good on the draw. There really isn't anything that Kopitar can't do. He's one of the most well rounded players in the game.
