I would take Pommers over Elias and I would laugh at someone asking me to swap the two.
Elias is a joke in my book. Sorry. Wouldnt want him. - BuffaloHardHat
Point per game players that play in a trap system are the worst.
You put Pominville on New Jersey and he’ll be lucky to break 60 points.

Invisible during the playoffs ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEpr8moQBPs - BuffaloHardHat
I'm not sure what this clip is supposed to prove.
In his 7yrs in the NHL, Pomminville:
- is a career +1 in the playoffs
- has an average of 7pts during the playoffs
- and has been to the dance a total of 4 times...without a result
In his 6yrs in the NHL, Kopitar:
- is a career +15 in the playoffs
- has an average of 12.5pts during the playoffs
- and has been to the dance a total of 2 times...the most recent resulting in a Stanley Cup
All this, in additioin to Kopitar averaging 10+ more pts per yr, as well as being 5 years younger than Pommer...makes the comparison a clear wash in favour of Kopitar. |

I think you are being purposefully obtuse now. Seems just too much of a stretch that someone would actually believe such assanine things like this and call themselves a hockey fan.

Look I think the simple argument here that everyone is passing over is that Giroux and Kopitar will likely be in the HOF , pretty sure no one will ever mention Pomminville in that same phrase. - Alexzanki
This is true....I like analyzing the numbers though....no matter how bizarre the comparisons....and this one ranks up there with the best of em' |

ROTF ---- sorry tp bring this back top the blog topic BUT ----
So Ek ... what you are really saying is the teams that totally suck have the best opportunity simply by the virtue that there will be less opportunity for them to screw up!
Shorter the Season, the better the chance the Oilers and Leafs make it!
Man, that is funny.
I bet they would even stand a 50/50 chance if they just forgot the season entirerly and just flipped a coin. |

Kid. You can stop digging for Kopitar stats. I am not even looking at them. You are wasting your time. I do not think highly of him at all !
What did it prove? Some one said Pommers was "invisible" in the playoffs.
ON THE ROAD / SHORTHANDED / SERIES CLINCHER Yea thats invisible alright.

Christmas means nothing thanks to this younger generation any longer. Listen to people my age. They are all saying it.
Its not the same anymore. Greedy selfish younger generation that thinks they know it all! Sad really!
Now I'm out. |

First off...don't call me kid. You don't know my age more than anyone elses here.
Second, I'll take my stats argument over your youtube video of ONE GOAL.

Then we must show the truth. The bible calls us to be both salt and light which, imho... imVho, means to act in good faith and role model behavior even when it's unpopular or unfashionable. While yes, there is far more commercialism and disconectivness in the Children of today, we must not give up on them. There is too much at stake for both themselves and ourselves.
Or, the alternative is just wait for the Mayans. |

Thats a great question. Both are rock stars playing on high school stages. I would take Tavares though. Nash, at least, has seen some high end action internationally but has never really smashed up the thing.
On the other hand, Tavares has more potencial. He just needs a team around him. I love the Islanders but I wish they would either trade him or build on him now while he is young. Hate to see him go to waste.... like Nash. |

Talking about my generation - Alexzanki
There is such an irony that you are using a quote from the previous generation to aptly describe yours.
Rememeber, he was teenage wasteland, not you. |
