You're forgetting about Bobby Loo. His awesomeness would bring the Buds to the 8-13 range (see Martin Gerber circa 2007). Bring on that lottery - after Columbus or Phoenix get #1, the rest is up for grabs and the Leafs will have a better shot than most to get 2-5.

There is no guarantee that they don't drop out of the top 5... in fact since there are 7 teams with the same chances there is an extremely high chance of them dropping out of top 5.

last time there were 4 teams with the most chance at #1. Only one got a top 5 pick (#1), the others were #6, 13 and 16.
