This will never go to arbitration, owners won't let that happen. They would fold the league before going to arbitration. People with that kind of money (the owners) don't let some arbiter control their money.

Well its not 100% certain they won't but no one and I mean no one likes arbitration and I would be absolutely shocked if the owners let that happen.

It would be like a billionaire letting a judge divide up his assets during a divorce from some bimbo he married two years ago. Best settle that one yourself or move to Australia where they wont extradite you and your money.

The two sides haven't exactly been burning the candle at both ends trying to reach a resolution. Probably safe to assume they would all rather be at home with their families than with each other on Christmas eve, regardless of its non holiday status. Also safe to assume Ek is pulling stuff out of his bum again.
