Really like the forwards and goaltending choices, it's nice to see TC finally realize you don't need a bunch of grinder, bottom 6 players to win these tournaments. Every guy on that forward roster is known to make plays and put pucks to twine.
Grit is overrated on the big ice, you need speed and finish, and that's what TC is bringing.
Goaltending should be among the best in the tourny for the first time in a long time.
Defense, you have your big top 4 in Harrington, Hamilton, Reilly, and Ouellet, but outside of them is there a D prospect playing better than Cody Ceci this year? Not from what most scouts are saying, very disappointing as a sens fan not to see him on the roster.
He's a superior player to Murphy and especially to Wotherspoon, who benefits from the insulation of a stacked portland team. - TommyDeVito
I think the Russians have great goaltending this year. Vasilevski is a beast
Honestly, with the way Subban played at camp I would have Canada at third at best, but likely closer to fifth.
USA has Gibson I think
Russia has two great ones.

Finns always have someone

The Fins always worry me because they play with heart and always seem to play a strong team game.
If they get goaltending, they can beat any team in this thing.
RNH captain- just named - IanEsplen
He's not captain material... but he's the big star on the team...
Can't wait until the CBA is signed and Team Canada's "captain" leaves right before the gold medal game.

Brossoit gets a 1-0 win in the super series, gets a shut out yesterday, wins playing on the U of A team and gets cut. why did they even invite the guy if they had no intention of giving him a look obviously their minds were already made up.

on the other hand, with Russia having what is probably the strongest offence i'd say based on how Subban has managed to shut them down in the past including summer and Subway series i'd say we'll be fine he had one bad period, it happens, the rest of the time he was unbeatable i think we'll be fine
i would feel alot better if we had Murray though, i'm just not convinced Reilly can handle those minutes on the defensive side of things like Murray would which leaves ALOT of pressure for Dougie.....but thank god for Harrington
for me its the D outisde of Harrington and Hamilton that really worries me, i hope Reilly understands that on that team Canada his job is not the same as his Moosejaw warriors team, with the kind of offence we have i think he needs to just focus on D only

Cool. Then Corrado can join, be the captain, play first line center AND play goalie.
