He may have led in scoring, at a club on Church St, other than that im not sure what you're getting at.

I think Corrado should have made it. Extra hands to fill water bottles is always valuable.

President Barack Obama addressed the stalemate in an interview Thursday with WCCO-TV in Minneapolis.

"My message to owners and to players is, 'You guys make a lot of money and you make a lot of money on the backs of fans, so do right by your fans. You can figure out how to spread out a bunch of revenue that you're bringing in, but do right by the people who support you,"' Obama said. "And I shouldn't have to be involved in a dispute between really wealthy players and even wealthier owners. They should be able to settle this themselves. And remember who it is that's putting all that money in their pockets."

Big surprise that the President of the United States makes a cookie cutter statement stating he wants a business that generates billions of dollars in economic activity to resume operation and entertain the same people who create public opinion.

Its probably for the best. It should help prepare him for a career with the Habs. If he stands on his tippy toes and reaches full out he may be able to touch Gionta's ankles.

Jesus.

Is anyone watching this Eagles meltdown? 4 turnovers in 5 possessions leading to 24 unanswered Bengals points in 3:30 minutes

Sixth possession: 3 and out, Eagles punting from their own end zone...

Yes, the NHL is such a thriving economic boost in the states, their president is pressured into unleashing a generic statement to the media in a public forum like Minneapolis, where the entire country is surely watching. Even the nhl's network deal isn't even worth a 1/4 of the next least popular major sport.

There are people draining pogey right now, the nhl's issues hardly even crack the presidents list of core economic issues affecting the United States of America right now.

Different login, same level of dumb.

So since the President doesn't have any economical interest in a 3.3 billion dollar business not operating during troubled economic times, it must really be because he cares about hockey but most of all, it must be because he cares about you, the special little fan.

How incredibly important that must make you feel.

I wonder, what color is Obama's purse?

Yup.... problem is the guy competing for that spot with him plays for the coach and also has international experience that Corrado doesn't.

Agreed. I think he did everything he could have to make it, just too big of a hill to overcome. I don't know why they are so butthurt that a guy that plays for the coach and has experience made it over him.... I'm shocked

i wonder if Ek got a call from Obama. Like the owner and players, the Pres must be pissed at Ek for his fearless and provocative commentary.

yeah i know.. when it comes to the bottom pairing guys you gotta go with experience and familiarity.

those guys play character roles.. and i am sure the coach is going to go with what he knows over than what he assumes
