BAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you are so dumb. Corrado is obviously number 1 on that list

Edit: just kidding about the dumb bit, don't mean to offend

No. It only make it illegal to not allow them to work. If they are under contract they have to fullfill said contract (both player and owner)

I've read a couple of articles (sorry, don't have the links) that state that nobody is quite sure if existing contracts would be in force.

It's such an uncharted territory, nobody really knows for sure.

Oh, man, wouldn't it be fun to watch?

Find all the best stars, period, coming up and give them massive money. We do not discriminate here.

decertification is our chance to get all the Staal brothers on one team.

They'd make a pretty nice 3rd line

Are you still optimistic the league will have a deal in place last week? I think you assured us all that it was going to happen.

There's no way you can be wrong. Is there?

No CBA, No draft..... no draft no rules on undrafted players, hence anyone can sign those guys for whatever they want/can.

It doesn't get that far thought. the League cannot let it get that far.

That would be a great system for the Leafs even if it lasted just three years.

MacKinnon, Ekblad and McDavid.

Franchise rebuilt.

Existing contracts would have to be honored and enforced or else the players could file anti-trust lawsuits against the owners for up to three times the value of the contract after damages.

So, the options for the owners are to either honor all existing contracts as they are or release all the players and fight their contracts in court while operating from scratch.

you may be wrong about who you're talking to.

But if I said that, then yes, I'd be wrong.

Why 3 years?? If their is no CBA they could sign anyone they want anytime.... so they could get all 3 right off the bat.

Because even without a draft, they still have to be 18 years old to play in the NHL. McDavid is 15. Who the hell would allow the Leafs to sign him and play at that age? Maybe they could sign him like they do in soccer but that's all unknown at the moment.
