We had a hometown kid, that was the last cut from the team. Derrick Walser was the last cut one year, and stated that he hoped the team lost, It ruined his NHL career, only 79 game I think..Anyway, He is an bumhole in real life as well. So, you must be very careful what you say as you are leaving the camp as well. He is still in europe playing and this was 17 years ago. Right after he was named CHL d man of the year.

Corrado just got cut but he's already on the short list for the 2018 Olympic team.

I guess they felt they had enough offensive d-men. It's not always the best players that get invited, they go by team needs, and in some cases connections.

From what I heard, he got cut for purely financial reasons.

They knew if he made Team Canada, you'd just get everyone buying his jersey this year, and saving it until 2018 to wear.

By cutting him, they have ensured higher jersey sales in six years.

He said exactly what he was suppose to say. I just find it hilarious that some people seem to think he gives a rats ass about hockey rather than the economical impacts a lockout has and that what he said about the lockout actually matters.
