Unanimous with who exactly?

It's not unanimous but whatever helps you sleep.

I'll take Miller against Lundquist in a playoff series any day.

i wish there was a poll we could do, im 99.99% positive that lundqvist would have a heavily majority in the votes

Miller is a good goalie and I would love to have him on the Leafs.

He is not Lundqvist though. Lundqvist is better.

Both have a Vezina in the past 3 years. They are both pretty damn good goaltenders. For all the poop that Miller gets, he has had a save % above .915 for the past 4 seasons, in some of which he had a rather average team in front of him.

But yeah, I would still take Lundqvist over Miller. I think Hank will win more Vezinas, while Miller probably won't.

I think 50/50 is fair. I would like to see an longer CBA then 5 years. I don't buy the PA's argument about negotiating for future players. Future players come into the League all the time that didn't have a say in the negotiations. 8 years would be a good number. I wouldn't have a problem with 10 either. A whole decade without a lockout would be nice.

Yes. At this point I want to see the NHL put their money where their mouth is.

Does that mean the offer is back on the table, then? I mean, how can he give a deadline if he has both rescinded the current proposal and taken insult at the submission of an NHLPA proposal?

The various TSN guys on twitter said that the NHL instructed the mediators to offer the NHLPA the exact same deal as last week. Of course, the NHLPA declined.

They didn't even meet today, I'm not sure how Gary could have gotten riled up enough to set a date right now.

Daly has apparently come out and said any talk of the latest NHL offer was hypothetical questions from the mediators. Mixed signals, anybody?

The players will get a longer contract term... it should be the only thing they are fighting for right now.

5 yrs is not fair to the players.

I believe the owners would bend on this is if given the other two concessions.
