I never said anything about Garths writing, I was simply stating Garth should finish Grigorenko off after all this teasing (By swallowing Grigerenko's batch). It is the gentlemenly thing to do. If you would like to watch then go for it, no one is stopping you. Hell, you guys can make a Grigorenko sammy for all I care. - Oilersforlife

I personally believe that we are only scratching the surface with Grigorenko. It’s quite clear to anyone that has ever seen him play even a single shift that he is a generational talent. Actually, I take that back, because that implies that a talent like him comes along once a generation, and that clearly doesn’t go far enough to describe a talent like Grigorenko. Maybe a bi-millennial talent will do, because I imagine Jesus, if in fact he were real, would be the last person that could challenge Grigorenko on a hockey rink.
I feel, as the season goes on, he will continue his reign of terror on the QMJHL, and will undoubtedly turn it up a notch to beat Lemieux’s records for points in a season, and points in a QMJHL career. But, given he hasn’t played as many games, only by about 500 or 600 points.
It is a shame that an NHL lockout is holding us back from witnessing the Freakorenko reign of terror against men. I imagine the true reason Donald Fehr has been kaiboshing deals is that the body of players that he represents is shaking in fear at the prospect of Freakorenko smashing their records, and their bodies. Notice that Sidney Crosby is front and centre in these negotiations? It is obvious that his motivations for continuing the lockout are to preserve his status as the best player in the world. If they were to play, that would obviously go to crap, along with endorsements, and of course, his pride. And Zdeno Chara? He’s there too, and is frightened at the idea of Grigenstein bearing down on him.
It’s a shame that destroying the NHL, by being just too good, has to go on a kid like Grigorenko’s shoulders.

I stand corrected, this is a demand not a guideline. Thanks so much for setting ground rules on how you would like us to read articles and comment on hockeybuzz!
I will take your important views into consideration going forward. - bjm1717
Now a demand is a ground rule? |

Good point! Since when can 23 year olds play in the WJHC anyways? Is there an overage rule that allows one player or something? - clarkysduster
He's actually 38 and retired 2 years ago. |

This is not a blog it's a fanboy site, and Garth/Dwight likes it that way, so leave him/them alone. |

The interesting thing is, he mentions that Grigorenko may be the hottest centre in the wokey (whatever that is) universe right now?
Galchenyuk is on absolute fire, and destroyed Grigorenko's stats in November (and continues to in December).
Given that, and the fact that him and Yakupov (who will undoubtedly be on the first line) have played together, it's quite conceivable, that if they keep Grigorenko at centre, he won't even be on the first line in the WJHC. At the very least, I don't think he'll be the first line centre. It depends if they want to move him to wing or not. |

I think he's being serious. Have you seen how many "new ones" Grigo has ripped in the Q? It's like a prison in that league with him there. |

All the trolling comedians aside, this blog does raise an interesting question. If the lockout ends mid-tournament would he report to Sabres training camp? What about yakupov, who is a shoe-in to play in the N this year.
I find it hard to believe only because Russia is the host and there is a ton of pressure on them to succeed. Undoubtably Grigo and Yaks are their 2 best offensive weapons. |

I wish we could take credit for all these hilarious posts but we're all quoting exactly that that joke of a writer already said. |

First off, Galchenyuk plays for USA, not Russia. Secondly, he's a winger.
Try again. |
