I think it's easily more than 20 games. If they were to sign a deal and schedule a season, the best they could do is late December. I think you're looking closer to 30 games already.

Assuming $3.5B in league revenue in a year, that's $600 millionish in players salary so far. And in terms of owner profit, maybe $30M collectively. So, given that they're fighing over $100M in "make whole", the players are really screwing themselves.

I just don't understand why they went public with their proposal at this stage, putting the pressure on the league at this time is not the greatest idea. Should have kept working behind doors and come out with a public announcement once they have a deal. Just my 2 cents,
